nah i don't think so cause goku is a martial artist and naruto is a ninja.(yes there is a difference) ninja don't challenge people up front they attack stealthily and quietly therefore diffrent clothing.
#1.narutos sweater is more like a turtle neck
#2. goku has weighted boots and naruto has like sandals

I agree with megan... and thanks julio captain obvious, we can tell that Narutos clothes are completely different from Gokus clothes -_-" .. Although different in style, but pretty much the same in color scheme and hair style and color. You can just tell the artist was inspired.

yeah the creator was a very big fan of akira toryama's work so goku was an inspiration for him. there are also other heroic characters that have the same appetite and personality like goku:
monkey d. luffy (one piece),jaden Yuki (yu gi oh gx), and zatch (zatch bell)
