Another American billionaire, Randy Lerner, current owner of an American football team (Cleveland Browns), is set to become the new owner of Aston Villa.

Is this a good thing?

Just last year, Malcolm Glazer (American) took over Manchester United and the team has never been quite the same since.

Should Americans stay away from owning English soccer teams?

I think they can buy them..... if they have a respect for their history and actually care about the team....if it is clearly for profit...then, Hell no!
