First of all, how does Lady Macbeth INADVERTENTLY contribute to Macbeth's fall? If you want more examples of a wife whose contributions are more passive, take a look at these:

Beyond the Horizon - Eugene O' Neill

It seems like it would have to be argued, because the passive nature of "inadvertently" causing a downfall is not so much in the femme fatale motif, but rather a passive women who allows the man to entertain extreme behaviors and does not have the power or inclination to curb his downfall (like Linda). Anyhow, that is the direction I would go, and I might use the following:

Streetcar Named Desire - Tennessee Williams
Othello (although Desdemona is WAY too passive-maybe argue for her naivety)
The Iceman Cometh - Eugene O' Neill (although it is a dead wife that he fixates on to reject his present reality)
The Wild Duck - Henrik Ibsen
You can look at Helen from The Odyssey
Oedipus's wife Jocasta, but that's a bigger mess then just her being his wife.
Mourning Becomes Electra is a sister that usurps the mother's role and leads to her brother's downfall.

That's the best I can do. I'll think more about it. Hope that helps.
