There is a person on here named "Twatwaffle" - I thought that was pretty unusual.

My name is Aiza, its Filipino. (Pronounced Eye-za)

I have a weakness for the name Daphne for girls...I suppose its pretty normal but I haven't met a girl named it yet.

I used to know a Tiffaine...Like, Tiffany. Anais...Anais is a cute one. Meirra. (Me-ra) Arra...Gemini...I've known a person named after every day of the week, most Months, and a few holidays XDD (Btw, the nicest one was named Easter, (I always thought that name was rather ....cruel...) and there was a very generous little girl I used to know named Christmas...

I'm not sure...I love my name but sometimes its just DIFFICULT! No teachers can ever pronounce it. My very Southern English teacher last year got "Ozzy". How do you get "OZZY" from Aiza. I have no clue....

Hope i helped! (:

I'm Tara. When I was younger, I used to want a more unusual or pretty name like Crystal, but now that I have learned more about what my name means, have further explored my heritage and spiritual beliefs, my name fits me well! I really like names that are more ethnically Irish or Scottish... Duncan, Siobhan, Tanai, Nora, Corran, etc.

My name is Ruriko. I quite like my name because it is unusual for my ethnic background (Irish) and i guess it suits me quite well.

I like the name Gemini a lot, it's very pretty. But I do really enjoy unusual names.

I don't really like unusual names. They lend themselves too easily to spelling and pronunciation problems, and to the bearers of such names being made fun of during their early years, if not their entire lives. Traditional names with traditional spelling and pronunciation makes people's lives easier and less full of needless drama.

My name is Josie, I like that not alot of people have it, don't so much like the reference to Drew Barrymore's movie...Grossie Josie. Thanks for that :)
My daughter is Jordyn...I love girl names that are boy names.
My son is Tyrel. Not a very common name.
What I don't like are all these names that people are trying to come up with by taking a traditional name like "Kevin" and then making it original...whatever...and turn it into "Trevin".
Okay thanks mom and dad! :)
And I really don't love what some of the celebs are doing with naming their kids. Apple anyone?
I love McKenzie for a girl!

my favorites are the ones celebrities name their kids...

only a celebrity can seemingly get away with naming their kid "pilot inspector" (JASON LEE) or "rumor & scout" (DEMI MOORE & BRUCE WILLIS).

it's like they think they're SO important in this world that they just have to have a child who stands out above all the other kids. common names are just SO below them.

why name them ordinary names like "jack" or "susan" when there are MILLIONS of those already?

don't they know this is the child of GWYNETH PALTROW? this is a special child, one who shall grace us all with their magnificence...well, once they master potty-training and their verbal skills...and pass grade school, of course. that's why her name is "apple".

please! : P

these names are okay (i suppose) but, what these celebrities fail to remember is...

"suri" is a cute name...NOW.

eh...now so much when you're 70 and in the old age home with saggy titties and alzheimer's.

but, i've always wanted to be called "shooter".
