I can't believe I'm even asking this. Anyway, I've never been a fan of the pill but when my period was expected around the time of my trip I quickly changed my mind. I started the pill about June 4th (two days into my period). My doctor told me light blood if any, would be expected around the time of my period if I doubled up. At the start of the pill I bled lightly until my next period (time of trip) was expected. I bled lightly everyday until I decided to stop the pill mid July. Problem is, I haven't gotten it since. I expected it to come Aug. 2nd but I thought maybe since I bled for so long, it may have thrown my cycle off track. My boyfriend and I do have unprotected sex (as we've done for years) but we aren't careless when he ejaculates. I don't have any pregnancy symptoms but it's now Aug.14th and there's no sign of it.

I would wait until the end of August. If you don't get your period by then I would take a pregnancy test. You may have just offset your cycle a little bit. Good luck.

You doubled up on your pills?!?!?! That is the problem, honey you aren't preggo your hormones are just going nutso. Stay off and then you will start, then after you start get your pill cycle started again. Then talk to your doctor about getting the Nuevo Ring, that way you don't have to worry about pills, you don't seem to have that quite down anyway.

"my boyfriend and I do have unprotected sex" followed by "we aren't careless" is a contradiction...unprotected sex if you do not desire to become pregnant IS careless...period.

Why be on the pill, if you're having unprotected sex? Isn't the whole idea that the pill BE your protection?

If you're concerned about your period, call your doctor...s/he can tell you if the issue you're having is normal...
