I am 38, and don't want any other children, but afraid I will gain weight and feel moody

They can, because estrogen helps control insulin, and insulin overproduction can cause weight gain.

The ones with lots of Progesterone cause the most weight gain and water retention. Low dosage ones will cause less weight gain but it depends on the amount of progesterone.

Every time I went on the pill I lost weight.Guess my body runs the opposite of what everyone else's does.
