If Winnipeg sucks so bad, leave and don’t bother coming back, we have a pretty safe city in most areas, our night life is fantastic we are the most multicultural city in all of North American – you can have food from all over the world, we have over the top restaurants, and for some odd reason since this city sucks so bad, why is it expanding so rapidly? People must want to live in this city because they’re moving here. So I really don’t understand what there isn’t to do here? The only major thing we don’t have that I can think of is a Huge Amusement Park and a chain of all the high end designer stores, which should be here hopefully in the years to come as well we don’t have the Ocean. We have everything to offer that other cities have plus more. Oh and if that wasn’t enough we have pretty much have no natural disasters, we flood in some parts out of Winnipeg but at least it’s nothing deadly. So just get out and quit complaining. - [ So yah it's just you....] Although our new logo isn't the greatest... Manitoba Spirited Energy...

I'm an engineer from Argentina and I have been in Winnipeg for work at least a dozen times.
I always found it pretty decent (hotels, restaurants), but not too much to do.
They think "The Forks" is an attraction!
Plus, I was once in December and temperature was -40°C with a wind chill factor of "just" -62°C...

I think it all depends on you. If your attitude sucks, then any city you go to will suck, too. Why not go to Winnipeg and judge for yourself instead of being led around like a sheep by other people's opinions?

No way, really? Everyone I know who's ever gone there has said it's fab. Why do you say it sucks? I've never been there, but only heard good things.
