What i mean is, men like to make over their women and shower them with gifts and flowers, to show her she is worth it. Let her know she is so very special to him. Gals, nowadays, dont want that for some reason, then when you dont do it we have to hear about it. What is it with you women today. Let the men do what they do, and dont use them and throw them away like an old rag. You either want the attention or you dont!

Thank you all for the response. But I think you misunderstand me. Im not all about spending money, thats just part of the courting process, i dont have to buy affection and will not do that! The gal i will be with, should be prepared for this tho. thats all im saying.

Sadly the reason is simple...the only guys that make over us like that are the guys we are not truely interested in. We might like you, but just not like that....Sorry to break it to you like that but its the truth. Been living it for years.

Not many women get showered with gifts and flowers nowadays unless it is a birthday or Christmas. Usually most women get gifts and flowers when something has happened. (an I am sorry baby gift) The woman you are with or will be in the future need to understand that is something about you that you like doing. btw, my address & # is...........lol.

Thats exactly it: I want there attention not their gifts. A man can easily throw money at a girl and not spend time with her. But if he takes the time to actually be with her it makes all the difference in the world:)

The whole gift thing is too much like trying to buy love. If you want to buy a woman, by a prostitute's affections. At least that's honest.
Personally, I do not want that kind of attention.

Okay, here is what you seem to be overlooking. We love the attention when we love the guy!
If some guy I am not sure about or hardly know starts doing all that stuff, it is too overwhelming.
So yeah, if the girl likes you, she likes the attention. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like many girls have like your attention. Maybe if you just chill out a bit it will work out for you.

i dont think its creepy at all, i think its just simply compassionate. i love it when a guy spoils me....but yet i dont want them to think thats all i m about, i m not a "material girl" but i do love knowing that a guy cares about me enough to show he thinks of me by buying me the occasional present. if i dont get a gift, its really no huge deal.

if you have a woman that don't like that, then you are looking in the wrong place. if you search hard enough, you will find one that will take it and love it. Most women don't get enough of it, and are just not used to being treated like that so it is odd to them..

maybe you should shower her with communication and understanding as oppose to gifts as you may be seen as a guy with low self esteem trying to buy a woman affection.

Actually, I don't see many men like that around.
It is nothing wrong with romancing a woman you like.
If the guy I like romances me like that, I have found my matchmade in heaven.

not all women find that kind of stuff creepy...like if they are really into you they will love all of the things you get them...if they are just there to be there they will blow it off like yeah whatever...and some girls just arent used to that kind of attention
