Sure, gargle with warm water and salt. Do it several times per day. Then drink a combination of lemon juice and honey mixed together. Your throat will be healed in 24-hours.

I have had problems with sore throats since I was a little girl. Always out of school sick with strep throat or tonsillitis. Gargling with salt water made with hot tap water is my first line of defense for relief of a sore throat. I also drink hot liquids like hot tea, chicken noodle soup, or warm Vernors. I sip them as hot as I can stand it yet not too hot to burn my tongue. Popsicles also work. Suck on any type of hard candy or throat drops. Your throat should feel better soon after trying these things. If it gets worse or you develop fever, that is always my cue to get to the doctor for some penicillin.

one of the best things i have found is slippery elm bark tea. It soothes the throat, and coats it with a film that keeps it from becoming dry, scratchy and irritated for a long period of time. I know it is easily found at health food stores, but I also have bought it at Meijer's before.... in the medicine aisle, in the alternative medicine section.

You could simply eat the honey straight from the jar, providing the honey has been cold pressed and still contains all of its antibiotic properties.

The health food stores sell a product called 'Hit Cough', its pricey if that's the way you want to go.

Try some essential oils. I would recommend clary sage applied topically over the throat area and also on the bottom of the feet. I'm thinking you may have a bacteria you need to clear. One drop of oil rubbed over the throat; one or two drops rubbed on the bottom of each foot. Do not use prior to exposure to sun!

One spoonfull of lemon juice ( naturally fresh one) mix with one spoonfull of honey. Take it slowly in your mouth. By the end you can gargle with the rest in your mouth.
To help reduce your heated liver, take chrysantemum flower, just 10-13 blooms flower put into your glass, then pour boiled water. you can mix with small amount of lemon juice and honey. Drink as it warm.
But you can also eat propolis as natural antibiotic medicine.

if you have it available ...slippery elm bark,or wild Cherry bark tea, they both are very good, also raspberry root tea will help but,if your throat is that sore it could be a sing of infection or thyroid imbalance,do not let this go unchecked for too long.
