Yes the solar winds would make the flag very very hot, but there is no Oxygen for the flag to burn in space anyway so it can't catch fire...

There are certain things that don't seem like they were around at certain times, like I recently learned that Radar was used in WWII and before that it just seemed too advanced for the time, but the moon landing, with the technology they had then would've been possible... If you can't explain the moon landing, then try to explain the shuttle colombia disaster, how did they burn up in the atmosphere if they never left? If we can get to space then we can get to the moon, it's just a matter of time before we go back.

Probably a couple of reasons --
1. Some people are obsessed with seeing a conspiracy behind everything our government does;
2. Other people don't have the knowledge to fully understand the arguments that prove Americans did land on the moon.
3. Then there are people who are just too lazy to dig out the facts.

Because from today's perspective it looks impossible. Now we have 3 or 4 manned orbital flights a year. And they've managed to put 12 man on the moon in 3 years in the 60's and 70's ! Today we have not finished ISS, Soyuzes TM designed in 70's and old malfunctioning space shuttles. And our grandpas landed on the moon. Sounds impossible ?

South of the border and beyond you will find a lot of people who do not believe. They are very skeptical, much more than the people in the U.S. They point out the obvious. How do we know a man landed on the moon? They believe we were served up a fabricated documentary. We believe the images we saw on TV were real. That is the difference.

because the moon is made of Swis cheese and they would have fell right through.
Not only that the Swiss wouldnt let the USA stick a flag in thier cheese.
There is a man on the moon and he would have e-mailed by now, if the Americans landed.....
-man on moon's log 56-24-32... ate somemore cheese for breakfast. Note to self: must cut cheese trees later to prepare my evening meal.
-man on the moon's log 56-32-65..... strange tin box landed in my cheese garden, crushing the cheese plants.watched a strange white alien blob get out,bounce across the rest of my garden, knock the wall of cheese down and stuck a giant cocktail stick with pretty cloth design on Edam hill.

Some people just like to believe the contrary, no matter what it is. The article today that NASA lost the tapes to the moon landing will really stir the fires of the Conspiracy Theorists.

If u search on the net, there are some images of numbers being found on the rocks also. Numbering props is usually used in movies, to know where it goes. Also, the wind was a give-away. and it was kind of a race to space with Russia. since russians were the first in space. many suspect that America set it up, to look as they were first on the moon.

Because people are dumb. They want a conspiracy, everyone loves a conspiracy!
Here's a great website that will give you the main reasons people give for the landing being a hoax / conspiracy. The site also gives reasons why these people are wrong!!

Because it can be easily staged and there was no eyewitness. One could only see through the lense of the camera.
Can you believe man has landed on the moon?! It's just too far out, men.
