Sticking your finger in it is alright though, but NO, don't try. All food has expiry dates and your jar of peanut butter is no exception.

I wouldn't chance it. I never heard of peanut butter going bad, but after a while it should be thrown away.

WHAT is up with all the questions like this one? They want to make you believe it is something vulgar or smut and then when you click on it, they have cleaned it up.
