I asked this boy for his number and he said he could nt give it away so should I give him mine because I know he likes me alot!!

Don't worry about me using bad words...i don't curse ....you should give him your number....You can always have it changed if you don't want him to have it anymore....

No no no don't offer it to him... make him ask you for it... otherwise you will make it too easy for him and he will lose interest...
also he had the perfect opportunity to ask you for your number or to give you his email address instead, when you asked him.
If he likes you enough then he will do something about it. be pleasant to him so he knows he can approach you, but don't chase him...honestly, most men prefer to do the chasing, it makes them feel they got something that wasn't easy to get so when they get it, they want to hang on to it! good luck...oh also, just because a boy likes you, doen't mean you have to like him too. Be choosy. :)
EDIT: ps sorry i am from the Uk so have no idea how old a 5th grader is... sounds like it is young if from the other responses you have got. Yeah don't let a boy mess with your studies .

I don't think he wants to get that personal with you hon...no boy wants his mom knowing some girly girl from school has a crush on him....think of the teasing, especially from his other brothers or sisters...no, you're better off not bothering with phone numbers. Maybe you can offer your email addy to him instead...that might be a little less personal

you are way to young to start dating, wait till high school, elementary is not a good age to start dating, middle is a practice but then high school is for real, so just wait. Really i know what im talking about. Take this advice.

I wouldn't even think of giving him mine until you know him better and HE asks for it. He will come back around if he really likes you.......in the meantime, try not to worry about it. Good luck!

I think it's weird that he couldn't give it out. Maybe his parents aren't ready for him to be receiving calls from girls. How do you know that he likes you a lot? You can assume nothing.
