I've been friends with this girl at my job for at least three years now, she was the second person there I came out to. She knew from the start that I was not straight! So now she doesn't get along with this guy I just met a few days ago! What should I do...should I leave the guy or tell my friend to get lost for a while?

well either your friend might be able to see something in this guy that you can't and don't want you hurt, or she wants to keep you single in hopes that you might not be gay and go out with her...

Dont ever give up a good friendship for a guy you barely know, but if you really do like him sit your friend down and tell her how you feel bout him, and remind her how much her friendship means to you and that it doesnt mean if you get involved with this guy you would stop being her friend!!cos that might be her worry!!!
She only has your best interests at heart, and cos you guys have been friends for so long she does not want to see you get hurt.

friend of 3 years or someone you just met....tough one....
I'm not gay or female, but there's no question you have to pick the long-term friend....what happens when/if the relationship doesn't work out? Clearly the friend will stick with you, but who knows about a new relationship.

Tell the friend that you understand her dislike but ask her to give you a little time to get to know the guy before you end the relationship. If she is your friend I am certain she will understand.

In my opinion, if they are a true friend, then they will just deal with who you've chosen. I've been in your shoes before. My best friend made my relationships a living hell because she didn't "approve" of them. I stayed friends with her and just tried to keep the relationships seperate. Give it some time but I wouln't lose him just because she doesn't like him. It's your choice :)

tell your friend if she has a problem with the guy u met then tell her to get a life cause u wanna be friends with both ppl. i mean if he doesnt have a problem with her then why should she have a problem with him
