I had GI Joe's friend called Big Jim, he came with his own camper, which was awesome. I also wished I could have my Six Million Dollar Man, Steve Austin. He was my Barbie's boyfriend. Barbie, the Six Million Dollar Man and Big Jim would take camping trips in their very own camper. Spend days at a time wheeling all over my backyard. Barbie couldn't have asked for more.

My parents hated garish plastic toys, so I had lots of art supplies as a kid -- big sets of paints, markers, sketchpads, colored pencils, pastels. Never was particularly gifted, but the idea of just turning on some music and drawing for a few hours is incredibly appealing to me right now... possibly because what I'll actually be doing is cranking out the last twenty pages of my thesis. Ugh.

Well let's see. I didn't have much in the way of toys when I was a kid. I'd have to say those little metal wind up toys. I remember I use to have a frog and a little chick that hopped. It kept me happy, this was back in the 70's. I wouldn't mind having it now just as a keepsake to have on display.

My My Little Ponies. They were cool, but my Mom go rid of them. Also my Hungry Hungry Hippos game. I know I can still get this one though. Oh and my original Hoth Ice Creature action figure. Except I didn't know it was that until I was sitting in the theater in 1997 or 1998 watching the re-release of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. I called him the "Abominable Snowman" and chewed on his legs. :(

I wish I still had my collection of Super Soackers. I even had the little keychain ones! I once used that to squirt my teacher when she yelled at me and believe me - that was something to remember! Besides that, I liked the yellow Super Soacker 50 the best. It was small, easy to hide with, and packed enough water to blast all your friends before going empty.

I would say either my first Barbie doll. She was dressed up like Jackie O. with the pillbox hat and gloves...
or this little rubber turquoise and white whale that was my bathtub toy.

I used to be very "linus" about my blankie. My ma gave it to the maid though coz she didn't think I should be so dependent on a piece of cloth. I wish I still had it. I remember it being ridiculously soft.
