For those of who who think that team chemistry is not important and that a team of superstars can win the world series, why the hell haven't the Yankees won it since 2000? Can you please shed some light on that?

They all have their money. With a team full of superstars, none of them stand out. I think it pisses them off. Egos are too inflated to want to work together.

Another part may be that they are over-confident. They think they will blow away their opponents, and underestimate their talent compared to their own.

Look what happened in 2004, they were up 3 games to none. They let their guard down and got creamed 4 straight.

They haven't won because some other teams have gotten hot, and they only have the highest payroll, not the most talent.

I agree with you, the key is the team concept.
