i heard somewhere that life on earth could be like ants to us...somewhere in another universe they could end our existinse as easy as flippin an off switch

That's more of a statement.
But... As far as the ants analogy, you can ask anyone in Texas if it is as easy as flippin off a switch to kill ants. Fire ants are a major problem.
But when it comes down to it, we could end our existance with the firing of a few nuclear missiles.
But pondering the thought of other more sophisticated life forms out there is nothing new. As far as the practical standpoint... it doesn't much matter, but it sure can be an interesting thing to think about.
