Jesus was an even bigger pascifist than Ghandi. Bush has a history of drug abuse, he never sees his children and doesn't see them at their birthdays. He's a liar. He's stolen. He hates gays. He supports the death penalty. He approves of torture. He doesn't help the needy (something good christians do). He calls himself a profit.

homosexuality is a sin under your own interpretation. Many would argue the opposite.

He said he talks to god. and not in the cute way kids do looking for advice. He said God personally told him to be president. And even if that was the case, it's SO horrible to push that on everyone. And he lies all the time, YOU are the idiot.

Its not even right to include George W Bush and Jesus or Gandhi in the same sentence.
Separation of Church and State & all. The founding forefathers of the United States were smart enough to know that there had to be distinct boudaries to this . Its not to protect the Church from the State; But to protect the State from the Church. 700+ years of Kingddoms being ruled by the Vatican under fear of excommunication proves all we need to know about this. But the real question is: was the excommunication from God? or the protection from the other armies of the Vatican? Kind of the UN council if you ask me. Dubya couldn't pray his way out of a paper bag without eating a whole lot of crap before hand and it's sad because he is only a man who has the great misfortune of being tempted by everything the World could offer all the while unaware that he really can't take it with him. Really Sad.And I am a US citizen and a patriot. I weep for the future.

Yea but imagine being under so much pressure no one can do a perfect job. Whatever he did about drugs and all that might have been in his life before he was a Christian. Homosexuality is considered a sin by the Bible. Death penalty is sometimes necessary. Does he approve torture for real? Who are you talking about when you say "the needy"? There are plenty of jobs in America and therefore shouldn't be many "needy" people.

Jesus said you shall judge a man by his fruits. A good tree cannot produce bad fruits and a bad tree cannot product good fruits. Bush may not be directly responsible for everything that has happened in the last few years but he holds most of the responsibility, since he is the President. War, Judgement, and intolerance are 3 good words to describe his administration. Not mentioning the fact that september 11 is more than likely an inside job, at least this is where current evidence is pointing us to.
So to answer your question. No he is not!

George Bush is certainly a good christian but only as a person. As a politician he looks evil but only because he does not know how to govern a nation.

He is not a Christian who practices his religion. He just calls himself christian because it is polically convenient. If someone says hey I am Christian, people will think this guy is good let's vote on him.
