They were- I knew that was the case when it happened. Our defenses were WAYYYYYY better than to allow for such an event to occur.
Who benefitted from this? Was it Bush? I think so! Why ELSE would we so readily allow him to send our troops over to die without question? Why QUESTION when we're under attack? Big brother will take care of us all, right?
9/11 was the first necessary attempt to bring in the NEW AMERICAN EMPIRE. We can look forward to more watching our freedoms disappear only to be replaced with more Patriot Acts, and violations/omissions of our Constitutional Rights (governmental hurdles).

regrettably I actually have little faith in the present administration and politics more often than not. inspite of the undeniable fact that i do vote and verify out to stay wakeful on the man applicants. I think a lot of us know this, but truly what can you do? Vote? The only candidates that we have to choose from are the ones big business and the elite decide we can have. But we do have it better than a lot of countries so we suck it up and deal. Death is a huge part of politics.
