I'm guessing this is your first baby, it really much depends, or you probably do feel it but you don't know what it feels like yet. If it really concerns you, then just let the doctor know.

I am pregnant with our third baby and I felt them moving prior to 20 weeks with each pregnancy baby. With the first baby it does take longer to figure out that what you are feeling is the baby. My sis-in-law is 22 weeks pregnant with her first and just started feeling the baby kick and move for the first time. You could try drinking some orange juice and resting in bed or on the couch for about 30 minutes and really pay attention to the feelings/sensations in the abdominal area. The movements can feel like gas bubbles, soft punches, slow smooth strokes, 'butterflies', or flicks. If the ultrasound was fine I am sure everything is OK. I would just mention it to the doctor or midwife the next time you go in for a visit if you still have not felt any movement. I know two women who were pregnant and never knew it until they went in to labor. They thought the babies movements were bad gas because they never felt cositand strong movement (it is hard for me to even imagine not knowing that I was pregnant, but I guess if you have a baby that is not a big mover it could be possible). Both women had perfectly healthy babies. God bless you and your little one!

I hate even as poeple attempt to scare pregnant women human beings. first of all, some sips of your husbands beer will no longer try this a lot harm on your unborn newborn. you shouldn't do it because it does comprise alcohol (no remember how a lot is a sip). Plus, a sip to me is letting it contact my lips the position a sip to some different person can be a mouthful. more effective efficient to have none then some. 2d, are you a heavier lady? or someone with a tilted uterus? previous surgical procedures? all might want to be elements in no longer with the ability to sense the toddler flow. do not project. If once you bypass to the ultrasounds, the toddler looks fantastic and wholesome and the well being care provider does no longer instruct any challenge, do not project about it. purchase a fetal heart exhibit screen when you're really in touch and hear the pulse frequently. this can make you sense more effective efficient about the toddler's movements. do not rigidity over it inspite of the undeniable fact that, that's no longer good for both one in all you. good luck.

Well, I say drink something really cold then lie still for about 10-20 mins. Youshould feel the baby move sometime between that time. Also, if this is your first pregnancy, you may not recognize the movements. They do feel like flutters (butterfly). If you are still uncertain, contact your doctor or let them know on your next visit.

You should talk to your doctor that is alittle far to not feel it but at the same time all babies are different your baby just might be very laid back my daughter didnt kick too much either and i used to freak out. If you feel like butterflies in the tummy that could be the baby. Better ask your doctor just to be sure though..

Usually at 20 weeks you get an ultrasound. The baby is still really small. Sometimes you feel little flutters ... like a butterfly fluttering it's wings on the inside of your tummy. Sometimes it feels like a little girgle. If this is you first pregnancy you may not feel it. Trust me...you will know it when you feel it. It's the best part about being pregnant.

I didn't feel it kick until the 5th month. And I may have felt it earlier, but didn't recognise it.
First time was waking up from sleep, and thinking my tummy had rumbled...."hmmmm...i must be hungry"..then my eyes flew open as I realized what I felt was happening about an inch behind my belly button...and I knew that wasn't my *stomach*!
If the doc says the baby's fine, they the baby's fine. Everyone's different. I also remember seeing the kid practically doing somersaults on the ultrasound - and thinking "Why can't I feel all that?"

By now you should have definitely felt some movement. If you are morbidly obese, it is possible you may not feel it for longer than normal, but before 25 weeks. I would be talking to the doctor about a level II ultrasound to rule out abnormalities.

I started feeling my first baby move at around 20 weeks, and with my second one I was about 17 weeks. I would contact your Doctor. 25 weeks just seems too long.
