For me luckily I have two great parents but the one person I seem to always relate to what he said and done was my late grandfather who was a born again christian for the last 60 years of his life.
While I do not agree with his beliefs ,he did live his life by them.He wasnt well educated and he wasnt wordly wise as he never travelled but I have to say he was a wise man and I miss him a lot !

My father, my parents were both terrible, but by never being around, and trying to solve my emotional problems with money(not gifts) he turned me into a wreck of a person. He taught me maths, he taught me not to trust anyone, he taught me how to take things apart and fix them, he disowned me.. I hate him more than i think most of you good people can imagine, as in my hour of need/ and the years after, he wasnt, and never will be there.

The thing i think that other childeren learn from a parent is the basic rights and wrongs of life, how to observe the laws, and social boundaries, and a sense of the world being a place where you can live and make a home, however temporary

I'm to darn smart for my own good, and I don't really have much of anyone that really influenced me one way or the other. I had try to be a follower, but it iddn't really help me find who I really am. I have always been my own self. and it would be really nice to someone that you can follow a foot step. It didn't really matter at this point. I know what my needs and wants are, and most of the time I do get what I want and need through hard work. I used to believed in being self dependent, which is nice but really it's always nice to just ask for help and some people do hold out their hands to help. That's all you need to know in life. So, sorry for your grand father being gone. I never really knew who my grand fathers and great grandfathers at all. All I know was that they were great people. It's really nice to be able to open up to strangers that I don't really know. I hope you see what I'm trying to tell you. It's all great. That's what's things are all about for me..

Lots of people like parents tacher etc, but the person who made me rethink was an lady in her 80's who had long history of depression - I was her social worker and would have done anything to make her life easier. Anyway, I asked her one day what I could do and she says 'I want you to take me out of my body and let me see the person I was meant to be', now I thought that was really profound and basically she had loads of regrets and things she wish she had done but held back because of what other people would think. So, I always think that at 80 I never want to look back and feel this and try to live life to the full. It's what I call the FD rule (FD are her initials) and I often think of her.

my mom i think..... she does not help or inspire me in besides, yet her way of existence makes me go with to end some thing. She struggles with costs, has 3 different teenagers with 3 different men and is only like 32. She has a loser as a boyfriend. She is likewise incredibly selfish. Her happiness constantly comes first no remember how badly it impacts her teenagers. without her i might in all likelihood no longer have as plenty "push" to grow to be a greater effectual guy or woman and artwork greater stable. She has been the suitable occasion for what I should not be once I advance up.

Whew, a serious question. Well I would have to say an older friend who believed in me, taught me TONS of stuff, and basically treated me like his son. His guidance helped me to be more of the father I wanted to be for my son.
My biological father couldn’t be bothered to spend time with me, so it was really important.

Beethoven. Although it is more an effect rather than an influence. I do not have heros as such. Mind you, I do have a few anti-heros starting with Bush and his gang of thugs. Sorry.... I guess I should not have bothered answering. hehehe

Lots of things are aspects to your life and for short periods are part and parcel as to what goes on in your life but only you can be and should be the biggest influence!

Jesus. He demonstrated that no matter how much you talk about love and not judging, your followers will be intolerant and judgemental. He made me realize that if you have true spiritual realizations, it's best to keep them to yourself.
