If a galactic entity would enslave Earth and offer us freedom at one condition. One country would represent earth in an Galactic Arena, and participate at various competitions of mind and body, what country would be ?

I would choose U.S. to represent the earth becaus of the freedoms we enjoy now. We are free to think, say, and do whatever we want with really few limitations. So, our competitors would not be able to intimidate us, sway us, or change us. We are also so egotistic that we take pride in big bodies with strength and have the arrogance to psych out our competitors. We are strong in our own selves and therefore able to defeat any mind or body any galactic entity could put up against us.

First of all, the human race could not agree on that! We (humans) would rather all die in slavery then admit that some nation is the best of us!
But, if something like that would happen, I would say - Germany! The people are naturally strong, they are warriors all since the Roman empire - they are tough!
Also, a nation which gave a great number of scientists, writers, composers and much, much more! This country has really prooven its worth trough history, and to present day!

Certanly not the USA they are too stupid and proud and blind by their pseudo-lliberty that they wouldn't be able to kill a bug or answer what 2+2 is in an arena. I would choose Japan because thoes people really don't have limits.

I vote for France. Any civilization capable of reaching us would destroy anyone put into the arena. The only hope we have is to amuse them into making us pets.
