in your house, where do you usually eat your dinner and do you incorporate other things into dinner time such as catchups etc...

We used to eat pretty early as soon as me and my sister got home my dad would go straight to the kitchen we would already know what we were eating, sitting doing our homework by the time we finish its done. We used to eat around 4:00 but now since my parents got different jobs things are changing :) Which i can live with because my parents taught me how to deal with this im 13-years-old and i know how to cook mostly any meal.

We don't really have a set dinner time. It really depends on when everyone gets home, and how long it takes to prepare food. It can be anywhere from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. As for where we eat, usually it is at the family table, but lately, since that has one of my art projects on it, we have been eating on the couch in front of the TV. We talk to one another during dinner about how our days went, and any other stuff that's of interest at the moment. We also comment on the shows that we are watching. Usually, if we're watching TV, we'll watch the Discovery channel, Food network, Disney, or Nickelodeon (we have an 8year old).

We usually eat between 6 and 6:30 pm during the summer, and closer to 5:30 in the winter (because my husband works longer hours in the summer due to more daylight).
We always sit together at the dinner table and talk about the day, or whatever else comes to mind, or family matters, as we are all there.

In my house we usually eat around 7pm. We sometimes eat in the living room around the tv, or we eat in the breakfast area in our home.
