It is not illegal. Mine is several places, two of them by my employer. I signed no release, nor is it in my contract. There is no "reasonable expectation of privacy" for information that is widely available.

Well, I am not sure whether it is illegal or not but If I was you I would not. And It really depends on what the reason you would post there address in the first place

I doubt that it is illegal to post an address. Remember you could just google a phone number and get a persons name and address. It is VERY RUDE though. If you are doing it to be malicious, cause harm, or embarrass someone and they file a complaint about you the evidence is there for everyone to see. IT'S NOT VERY SMART!!!

While it may or may not be against the law, it is against common decency and sense. How would you feel if someone posted your address on the internet without your permission?

Invasion of privateness and everyone has the right to privateness. it truly is illegitimate so some distance as i recognize and intensely reckless because a verify by no skill knows who's searching for info on the information superhighway, it would want to be some sicko or whacked out individual.

It could be, and if they pressed charges, you could really end up in some trouble, depending on how hard they push it, so if I were you, I would not put myself in that predicament.
