and why has it been associated with blazing it?

because when police report pot usage or possession, it is a violation of section 4-20, and the blazers adopted that, changing the mean to mean the time all blazers should fire up. But the origin is the police, ironic, isn't it.

4:20 is just a code for smoking some weed. There are about 1000 theories for where this came from, but choosing one as authoritatively true is impossible!

some think its the code for the police
others say it was the time that two guys used to spark up and they were the ones that coined the phrase as a secret code to go smoke...

and now its used internationally as code for marijuana
any stoner will know what you are talking about

Most person's say 4:20 becase there in a good mood , or smoke pot, or smipley becase they say it and know what it means like hitler's b-day.

ive heard a million different meanings for 420..... most often then not ive heard that its the lapd police code for marijuana smoking in progress..... ive never been able to get a definate answer for this either
