During the thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays i will have about five weeks to work until i go back to my studies. My goal is to make some money to put towards getting a car. However i will only be able to work for about five weeks and then i probably won't start up again until next summer when i've graduated. Do you think it's worth it to do this?

If you're taking a job at a place with a high turn over rate ... Great! Go for it! (Retail Store or something like that)
But if you're looking at going into the corporate world for these 5 weeks - you really don't want your resume to show a lot of short starts and stops. (Love 'em and Leave 'em) It tells other companies that you don't stick around long and aren't worth the trouble training. But if this is what you want, let the company know up front this is a 'between semesters" thing for you - and get a letter of reference when you leave!

Yes it is worth it. I've worked seasonal before and you can earn some nice money towards your goal. Just think, it will be more than you started with so it'll be worth it.

YES! Get a temporary clerical job with an agency.
Call, interview, test in October near your home. If you are in college, tell them. You can be put in a related field.
You will need to dress professionally all the time. Its an incredible opportunity.

School, is the main thing, I really do not see you making enough to get a car, but you could use it for Christmas.........:)
