I take it that you are a young teen, with little social experience --- Okay, Listen ---You have an interest in a guy who is 3yrs older than you. STOP!!!, if you have an interest in him, but he does not show any interest in you, you're putting yourself at risk for hurt. because, he may have experience more in life than what you can imagine (may not be much, but its more than what you know). you may be hook on his coolness, which will make it easy for him to pull you into corners to which you may know nothing about. after the game on you is complete, you're useless to him, you become a notch in his belt. Cool your jets and look the other way. when he comes to you, don't be flattered. listen to what he has to say and give yourself a couple of second before you respond. you'll sell, he's not all that, and you can do better.

Oh man, am I your person to talk to! You can message me if you want to ask any questions!

My boyfriend is three years older than me. I started liking him when I was 11, and we didn't start dating until I was 14. I will admit, it was hard to get his attention. But I had to show him that I was mature and that age really didn't matter. Now we are SOOO in love! More than any teenage relationship I've ever seen.

All it takes is confidence. He isn't going to think you're weird. Even if he does, he'll forget about it quick. Be yourself too! Its very important to do that. Show him how much you like him. Guys like that kind of attention.

Any other questions, message me. I'd love to talk about him!

Good luck!

it all depends on the age of u two. Im 19 and i dated a guy who was 26 and 24. BIG difference. But its all in their maturity levels too. Guys are behind their age in maturity. So they do tend to like younger girls. But not always. But go for it. Just be respectable and ur cute self. Cause a guy..just as much as a girl, doesnt like to mess around. Ok some do, but not a good one. does that make sense?

Are you at least 18 yrs old? It's best he is not of legal adult age and you to still be of minor age! Give it time. Go with groups of friends to places and invite him along. See what he is made of (maturity) and if he has any goals in life. Now's the time to see what he is made of, before you get too emotionally invested.

3 yrs isn't bad. Personally, I always dated younger than myself. My fiance is 10+ yrs younger, but since he's in his late 30's, it really doesn't make any difference!

I am 20, and my husband is 43. If I wouldn't have talked to him, we never would have met. I think that if you are interested in someone, regardless of there age, you can't wait for them to come around. I am the type of person who doesn't want anythign unless i earned it. You can't expect everyone to rush to you. Show him how much of a woman you are, and hit on him. It would blow your mind how much of a turn-on that really is to a man. Good luck!

My boyfriend is 4 years older than me, I am so much mature than he is. I think you are worried about what people say about older people, well that's just a myth. Go for it, introduce yourself, and take the conversation from there.

I think you need to mature a little. If an older boy saw this entry, he would think you were still in grammar school, and that he would probably get into trouble for associating with you.

It matters how old you are. If your 15 and 16 and he's 18 or 19, you don't. He will definitely get into trouble if you have any sexual contact. Again, your age is important.

What does his being three years older have to do with anything? Just talk to him like you would anyone else.

Just talk to him like you would talk to any one else. Age is not that big of a deal, and if it is only 3 years not that bad at all. just be yourself and talk to him
