I try to be so nice to them and include them in everything. I get
snide remarks, and sarcasm all the time, but never in front of
my sons. I will not say anything to my son, as I will not do anything
to cause friction in their marriages. I just bite my tongue and continue
to be nice. But I do get sick of it sometimes.

You're going to have to talk to one or both of them about this at some point because if you hold it all in you're just going to build it all up untill one day you'll just explode at her.
Try talking to her about it first. Ask her why she's treating you the way she is, and if there is anything that you may have done in the past to provoke her attitude with you.
If that goes nowhere and shes still bothering you, then talk to your son. He not only has a right to know that his wife is being rude to his mother, but he may be able to get her to open up about whatever her problem is with you.

They're jealous of something. The close relationship you have with the boys would be a good place to start. Other than that, they may feel you dress or act inappropriately, you outclass them, or your sons value your opinion/time with you, more than their spouses. You need to confront them, in front of your sons. Not brutally, just as an aside, while the boys are present, 'Darling girl, have I done something to offend you? You act so negatively about me, when your husband isn't around' or something to that effect. The girls aren't going to straighten out until you face them with their bad behavior. If they're going to act like children, you need to fix it like a Mom. Good luck!

i think you should tell your son how you feel .don't feel bad it might be that he love you more than any thing in the world even her. maybe she thing you are going to interfere with problem that they may have or she just never had a mother and child relationship. if worst come to worst tell her chill out she just acting like a brat you.you should never hold your feeling in side not for someone who is treating you badly that suck you sound like a good person who loves her son and that great nothing wrong with. try asking them in a nice way, and see if there is anything u can do to change or make them feel more like family around u!
