I have used them and my doctor seems to think they are dead on when I am ovulating--I have to go in and have him check to make sure--we are having conceiving issues. When the tester says I am ovulating, I have been exactly that when I go in the next day to the doctor.

I use Clear Blue Easy digital ovulation test--they don' thave the lines. It is either an empty circle for not ovulating to a happy face for ovulating. They are more expensive than the other kinds and i have only seen the digital ones at Walgreens, but I think they are highly effective. I followed what the instructions said to the letter--but i was told NOT to do it first thing in the morning. I was told to empy my bladder first thing when I woke up, then wait for at least 4 hours before I took the test--and not to drink a lot of liquids during that time either.

Good luck!

I use answer it has 20 strips (dip kind) for 19.98. You can test everyday that is the only way I can find out when I am ovulating because of my irregular cycle. Ihave been trying since jan. and nothing has happned yet. I akready have a 19 month old daughter and it took 8 years to get pregnant with her,but I did not use test strips.

I just started using them, I haven't conceived yet, but my sister did after 2 months. I like the clearblue easy digital with the smiley face. It is more expensive, but takes the guess work out of trying to tell if the lines match. I also have a saliva microscope. Easy to use and can you over and over. You can buy them at most drug stores. I bought mine at Walmart.

i use a ovulation scope it uses spit to tell when you are ovulating and can be used forever!
the hard part is remebering to do it before anything else in the morning. drinking eating and smokeing and brushing your teethe can effect it. best to do it as soon as ou wake or two hours after any of the things i said can effect it. and when its hot its hard to get a two hour time peiod between drinks of water or soda or koolaid .... you get my point.
I got mine at Wal-Mart for about $19

they work fine for most women. if you do not ovulate, they obviously will not work.
