How can I even choose? They're all oh-so-good!
Keep the truth out there, Skerry! You must be doing something right....notice how you've reduced the libs to their standard name-calling tactics while they avoid the question? High-five!

I cannot readily adopt any of them with my firm support. There is so much going on in national politics...and we have been lied to and misled so much that it is difficult to be absolutely decisive. I do firmly believe though that we should not attack or wage war on another country and kill Innocent people unless we are positive to a large degree that they are a threat to our nation and well being. I do feel that we unjustly attacked Saddam because there were no mass destruction weapons found. I feel that we are wasting many American lives and dollars, and cannot see the need for our being in Iraq either. Yes...I strongly support that we escalate our efforts to put down terrorism, but stop ambiguously using our might to run over less powerful nations.

This is my favorite quote, and its one that I coined. "When things are not going your way...and/or you are being mistreated, use it as an opportunity to show how much class you have".

the whole of Congress was fed the same pack of machinated data that the rest of us were fed and then some (with a 'security clearance').

rather than looking at what someone said a few years ago (after being lied to by the current administration) try to focus on the administration that actually lied--this administration even had the audacity to make the CIA take the fall for the bits and pieces of intelligence they chose to use & weave together with the overt lies to come up with 'justification' do do what they wanted to do anyway.

is everyone asleep?

Pretty lousy quotes there I think. Personally though, my favorite Iraq related quote is:

"I think things have gotten so bad inside Iraq, from the standpoint of the Iraqi people, my belief is we will, in fact, be greeted as liberators. . . . I think it will go relatively quickly, . . . (in) weeks rather than months."

-Vice President Dick Cheney

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members...

It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."

Liberals suffer from "I don't remember that" syndrome.

Excellent link. Far to difficult to pick a favorite.

Amazing Disgrace (To be sung to the tune of Amazing Grace)

Our Bill of Rights, how sweet the sound.
It's kept our people free.
Alas, we're lost, cause Dub's unbound.
He flouts it joyfully.

Our founders told us to beware
The blight of tyranny.
Bush-Cheney threaten rights held dear.
It's time to dump some tea. ...
