Oh geez, no offense but you sound like you were deprived as a kid.

Well there are the "typical" things people would put on a pancake: fresh berries, honey, and butter/margarine.

Considering kids, they might put chocolate syrup, gummy bears, M & M's, or any other type of small little candies they can eat up with their pancakes. As a kid, I mainly loved margarine and sometimes honey on my pancakes. I still love the margarine though!
