This reminds me of an episode of Malcom in the Middle when the Hotel Critic went to review the Ranch accommodations and Francis' wife beat the crap out of him, and he was criticizing not only the beat down as he was being carted off on a stretcher, but the ceiling as well....
So to answer your question, I would think the truly harsh ones should be afraid, and some know they deserve the occasional smacking around. Murder may be a bit harsh for a bad review.
