Pistons will still be a good defensive team, but they will no longer be the best defense. Their offense will be better, no doubt about it, however their chemistry will not be as good as it was last season. No way they can compete with Heat or Bulls next season. For them to have a chance, they need someone at least like a Tyson Chandler to man the middle. Departure of B. Wallace may seem reasonable financially, however, there is no one in the league capable of replacing what he does on the court for the Pistons.

Well without Ben Wallace they probably wished they never traded Darko because if he came in in his spot they might do better. They probably will make it to the playoffs its just can they go far I'm not sure. I don't think they can but they may suprise me. It really hinges on Nazr Mohammed probably the best player at center position on there roster. He can come in and play for about 20 minutes a night and be an awesome defender but, can he put 30+ minutes in a night? if he can do that and do it effectively they will win again.

If they can fill the shoes of Ben W. They will not be known as one of the best defensive teams anymore. Probably see higher scoring instead of the normal 76 to 65 wins. They will still be good though.

No Big Ben. Old Rasheed Wallace. Mediocre coaching. Miami will represent again, BUT THE PHOENIX SUNS SHALL RISE AND WIN IT ALL THIS YEAR, BABY!!!!

They will do fairly well, not as good as their old selves obviously with the loss of Ben Wallace, but they will still manage to contend in the east.

They will be average, not awful, but not great.
