Just get it in the standard size it comes in, then you can get it sized later.

You could ask her family members. If you do not want to involve them, just get one you think will fit and take her back to the store to get it sized. You could really surprise her and tell her you need to stop and pick up something for a friend at work who really needs it and can not get there in time. You will have already purchased the ring and clued in the sales people. You go over to get the ring and ask them to let you see it. She tries it on and you say, "It's for you!" Bam! then they can size it with her right there.

If you are able to, either ask a family member if they know her size or see if you can snag one of the rings that she already has. If you can't do either of those, just get the ring in whatever size and they can just size it for her after she gets it. It shouldn't be a big deal, so don't worry if you can't get her size ahead of time. Good luck!

grab a ring that belongs to her, and take it for a day if you can, and bring it to a jewelry store to get it sized. If you can't get away from her with it, ask her to try one on that she is wearing on the same finger as the finger you are buying her a ring for. Make note of how it fits your finger so you can go to the jewelry store, and try on the sizing rings, and tell the jeweler when you find the ring that fits you the same way hers did.

I've noticed that a lot of my female friends have a ring finger size of 6 or 7. Maybe her parents or another friend may know.

Ask her mom or dad to tell you, or you can guesstimate, either way she can always have it re-sized. If she is average build and medium boned, she is probably a size 6 or 6.5, if she's pretty tiny I'd go for a size 5 but anything over 8 is too big for a average girl.

if she wears ring then ask her to hers and get average with yours. try it on and see. if not then ask her her shoe size. most women whatever their shoe size is is the same as their finger or a half size bigger. Works for everyone I know.
hope you figure it out. and best of luck.

Possibly the best way is to become friends with one of her female friends, and then ask her to find out. But then there's the possibility she might tell your friend about it.
