Get a pop-up blocker. You might already have one.
Go to:
Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Turn On/Off
If you don't have that, install one, if you use firefox, get adblocker.

You can start by getting pop up blocker it really works! They should stop the unwanted ads. no far as in your inbox that I don't know how to do cuz I am going threw the same thing!

You can set you internet to block specific sites but you have to put the addresses in manually.
Me I just delete them every now and then

Alot of these will have a place at the very bottom that says click here to blah blah remove, it is time consuming but it works.

You need a spam blocker and a pop up blocker installed.

if you mean like..popups,then get a popup blocker. they actually work :D
but if u mean in emails, then just put ur junk email filter on high and the system should filter out stuff you dont want.

If you have firefox with the adblock extension you can get rid of them, if not then deal with them.
