I don't think so, if you don't have a plan for someone to care for the children. It's called a family care plan (within 30 days), and you have to fill out forms and things......there is some red tape involved. If there is no family care plan, you willt be counselled (not a negative one) by your commanding officer, who may grant an extension of time it takes to get a fcp(up to 60 days), and if you still don't have one, they might begin chapter proceedings.....all you have to do is talk to your commanding officer to find out what to do.

There is a possibility that you can get out of it. Check with your First Sergeant & see what Top can do for you. Usually, the answer is no, if your wife is deceased & you haven't remarried, you can't be sent. But the rules may have changed since I was in.

Yes but what age are the children do they have their grandmothers or some one to take care of them single mothers go but they leave their children with the grandparents ask someone in the army ask your Lt or Tops.

i dont believe so. i think you have to get a waiver and the situation has to be investigated to make sure the children are totally dependant on his care.

but if they call him and he goes without fighting it then they will do nothing.

you have to file for something i do believe.

no, i'm pretty sure he can't. i mean if he was, where would the kids stay and who would take care of them???? so really, i don't think he can be sent there.
