I would say slim, unless you first work in the allied health field. If you work as a radiologic technologist, respiratory therapist, surgical tech, nurse, social worker or psychologist your chances would be much better because the admissions committee would see that you are in fact serious about such a career. Your grades just don't show that you are worth them taking a risk on, frankly. I mean this constructively! You have no REAL experience in the field yet you want to be a dr. Many such jobs don't require more than 18 months of study, then if you work 2 years it would show true commitment.

Well, your GPAs are not stellar, but with a good MCAT score and your obvious enthusiasm for hospital work you could get in.

I don't know about the US, but in Canada there are some schools that give higher weight to experience and do not consider your major in college when deciding whether to admit you.

Also, the interview is very important from what I've been told.

Your low grades from community college will injury you; the present solid grades would or won't be sufficient to overcome them. consult with a pre-scientific consultant at your college approximately the thank you to jot down a solid very own fact. evaluate retaking countless the courses with low grades and then utilising to a DO application. additionally evaluate doing a submit-bacc to enhance your grades in case you don't get everyday on the 1st attempt. Your modern grades and ECs coach which you have the means and fervour. do no longer provide up without giving it your maximum suitable shot.

all of these accomplishments are good, but you make sure that your MCAT is GREAT....research on medical schools to see what school best suits your academic career that you have experienced. Talk to some admissions counselors and see what happens. But do be prepared for the MCAT.....hope this helps

Your sciences are kind of low, mine is 3.8

But I'm sure if you apply yourself, study hard and then do the MCAT's you could get in - good luck.
