My husband told me on July 5th, that he was leaving me and he would be out by the end of July. I said ok. So, during the 3rd week in July, I let him know that I was moving in with my father since he was leaving. He said ok. I let my landlord know and I was going to be out by Sept. 1. Well, on Aug. 8th, he was still in the house. I asked him if he was leaving he said yes. So, I called him from work and asked if he'd wash the kids sheets so I can pack them up. He said no. He didn't feel like doing anything for me. I said ok. So, when I got home, he took off in my car without saying a word to me. I went on with moving in with my dad. I made sure that I had just about everything out of the house before he got off work. I then went to his job and got my car. He now feels that I left him because I proceeded to move my things to my dad's house as planned. He told me that he didn't leave because his place wasn't ready. But he was still leaving. Was I wrong to go on?

Hell no you weren't wrong this guy is an idiot. If you tell someone you are moving out then get the F!!!! out and quit with the head games. Since he told you he wanted out of the house and obviously the marriage then you are in the right for doing what you are doing. Just be sure everything is documented-documented-documented so that if every thing is written down and your landlord knows in writing ( make a copy have him sign it stating he knows you moved out) SO THAT HE CAN'T COME AFTER YOU FOR RENT IF YOUR SOON TO BE X DIDN'T PAY. OH, by the way he owes your children support even if you aren't divorced yet or even if your not seperated. Get an attorney to protect your rights and that of the kids. Also since you are seperated get your car keys from him and let him know that he isn't to take it again and file a report with the police next time this is auto theft. If he crashes the car you and your children have no vehicle other than your dads ( God bless him for helping you ). You need to protect your kids interests at all times. After all he was the one that wanted out you were just smarter for moving faster.

Seem to me that there is a LACK of actual communication bet u2. Its seem to be a Question, followed by a NO answer Or a OK from you...I guess both of u2 are so full of PRIDE and stuborness to ask more or answer more..Which may cause you to lose the man u love because of your pride.
Think again...Speak out.

Well I can't believe you didn't even put up a fight when he said he was leaving. What was the reason for the split? If it was his fault you did the right thing. If it was your fault you should have just left. If it was a mutual agreement then you both need to be mature enough to settle things. I feel sorry for the kids, please don't use them as pawns if you start to argue. Trust me..........

Not wrong at all, sounds like you took him to the hoop and scored. I think hes more mad at being schooled then by you moving out. Nothing says "See ya" more then moving your stuff out first.

no way! if it was true love and meant to be he wouldn't play games with you saying he's gonna leave, and then when you move on he's guiltripping you! if he loved you he wouldn't have told you he's gonna leave you. and if he made a huge mistake by letting you go, he should have ran after you and brought you back home!

NO you were not wrong! This jerk couldn't even wash your kids sheets? What a useless waste of space. You deserve way better than him. Good luck to you.

You weren't wrong, little mama. He started this, and you took him at his word (such as it is). Don't let him play any mind games with you....besides, now he can deal with the landlord if he isn't out on time!

Wrong!!!??? He should not have said he was leaving without a plan. As soon as he did this, you were supposed to start looking out for yourself. No, you were not wrong.
