The only grade level I believe is high school, i.e. even 9th grade. I took it the first time in 10th, then again in 11th, and finally in 12th ending up with 1380. Also take the ACT, some universities prefer that one. The SAT is geared for general knowledge of a high school senior. So, it's up to you. I took it to get an idea what it asked. There is no limit to how many times you can take it as long as they get there registration money.

Actually you are able to take the SATs in 6th grade-senior high school. The difference is it wouldn't be put into your high school records and there is about a $300 fee. In your junior year you are required to take it regardless of age grade or GPA.

PSAT can be taken sophomore year. I would take the SAT toward the end of junior year for the practice and again in the fall of senior year. Depending on your score, you might want to take it again in the spring.

I first took the SAT's in 7th grade, because the IAAY sent me something saying I should. While it wasn't put towards any colleges, it caused the school to want to put me directly in high school, an option that was declined.

you can take it anytime after your sophomore year, but I would suggest taking it at the end of junior year, or the summer before senior year. That way, you are educated enough to answer the questions and you have enough time to send the results to the colleges of your choice.

ANY AGE. U CAN START IN THE 9TH. UR GPA DOESN'T MATTER BUT WHAT YOU MAKE ON THE TEST DOES. TRY AND TAKE IT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN BEFORE COLLEGE. THEY KEEP THE HIGHEST SCORE. THE HIGHER IT IS THE BETTER COLLEGES YOU WILL GET IN. MIGHT NOT SEEM IMPORTANT NOW BUT ITS VERY IMPORTANT. BETTER SCHOLARSHIPS.
