I'm gay, and I'm not picky. That just goes to show how people buy into stupid stereotypes.

That's not true, I am a lesbian and I am as picky as they come. In order for me to date a girl she has to be:
a fem lesbian that only dates fem lesbians, preferably aggressive
monagamous
pretty
a non-smoker and occasional drinker
taller than me, even if only a little
living on her own with a car and a j-o-b( I'm not asking her to support me, but to be able to support herself)
child-free
great personality
ambitious
in shape ( and not the shape of an apple)
and the list goes on......
Now, some of these things I can go without, but I am still very picky.

Dude, have you seen some of the guys that straight women go out with? But the *guys* have to have hot girlfriends. Guys are pickier by nature, and women will give people chances if they have "good personalities" or whatever code word you use for "doesn't look too good."
Women usually want a good provider and nester, not some flashy little hussy that will run around on them because he or she (based on orientation) can attract others with his/her looks. I think it's more of a woman thing in general, not necessarily a lesbian thing. Or lesbians think butch is hot, I don't know. I'm not a lesbian, but I'm just speaking from the female standpoint.

you're stereotyping and generalizing. straight men are picky too, and so are straight women and lesbians. everyone is different. I'm a little picky myself...I've been burned by a bad relationship. that'll make a lot of people picky.

gay men being promiscuous is a stereotype no longer actual in any respect. constructive maximum youthful men(gay and immediately sexuality doesn't remember) are. i'm 22 gay and function in uncomplicated words had sex with 3 diverse men 2 of that were lengthy dedicated relationships.

I would have to agree that this is a very open question and the true intent is unclear.
But I would have to say that you are making sterotypes and I don't even think they are based off of true facts. I am sorry, but I am gay, and sometimes I am not picky, and I know girls that are pickier then crap. So I don't turly understand.

It depends on what I've gotta choose. I have a lot of dislikes as far as food goes so I guess that could make me a picky eater. Otherwise, it just depends.

gay guys are probably looking for the one who can show them the love and affection they need. and lesbians? i'm not so sure about y their not so picky

I think everyone..gay, lesb, hetero are picky to an extent..or else we would be having sex with every person that carries us out to eat or even say that we're sexy.
