I guess if you left it on one spot too long...but I think that straightening it...that's what all those conditioners and products help prevent.... Don't think I could live without mine!!!

im not sure exactly what those are like... but you definitely want to look for a straightener that has ceramic plates so it protects your hair more. All straighteners burn your hair to some degree, it just depends on which burns it less. one tip, dont go over your hair very very slowly with the straightener. that causes a lot of damage. you also want to spray on a hair protecting spray before you straighten so your hair doesn't get so damaged. if you go to a beauty store just ask for it, and they will know what you are talking about.

i be conscious of an excellent sort of human beings who has gotten their hair burned by utilising a Conair. i take advantage of a Chi, and it has not at all burned my hair and that i've got been utilising it for years. So has my mom, and a few of my pals. And earlier utilising any straightener, use some warmth protection spray to take care of your hair from warmth injury.

only if you leave the straightener on one spot for to long....and if you have it to hot. i have straight hair but its thick and i sometimes use a conair straightner to cut down the frizz, and i have never burnt my hair! so i dont think youll burn your hair in less you hold the straightner on one part for like 5 minutes....

They can make your hair dry, damaged and brittle the more often you use them. The thicker your hair the longer you can go without a wash you could only use it every two days. If used every day a hair cut is a MUST every 7 weeks. Or you will be looking like Frizzo.

no but if your still worried it will burn your hair get a heat protector at Sally's beauty supply called ion it works really well and leaves it shiny . don't put too much on, only a spritz or put it in your hand and run it through your hair before using the hot iron.♥

all straighteners are bad for your hair. i love my straighteners and used to use them every day twice a day but it gave me really bad split ends so now instead i curl my hair and straighten my hair about three times a week and my hair is in way better condition.
