Like the expression: "Stick out like a sore thumb". Try to be obvious to him or noticeable without looking easy or you won't get respected. Get his attention somehow like a friendly hi! or thank you for something or see if you both have anything in common and ask for his help or offer your advise. Be creative.
Don't forget to choose a "best answer" I've noticed that you didn't vote for best answers on any of your previous questions so you missed getting 3 points each by rating them. And if you answer some other questions you get 2 points and 10 if your answer is chosen as "best answer".

Me and you are in the same boat. Have you tried talking to him? Dont let anything hold you back, let him know how you feel but pace yourself. Dont come on as too strong. I did that and went 2 steps forward and 6 steps backwards.Make yourself known. Prove to him that you're worth his attention. ;)Happy man-Hunting.
