I talking about manned flights, that returned to earth. Distance in miles, please.

Dr M is right. I don't know what the others who answered were thinking of. The space shuttle is basically only capable of fairly low earth orbit. It doesn't have the necessary fuel capacity to get to higher orbits and certainly can't reach the moon.
