how do you burn a movie to a dvd once you have downloaded the movie, i have a dvd burner, and dvd+rw disc's, what am i doing wrong and can you tell how to do it, thanks

Get AnyDVD and Clone DVD - that way, when you put the dvd in your computer it will automatically start the process of burning it.

If you've downloaded the movie I'm assuming you've downloaded it as an AVI file, that's the most common format (although there are others). The best app I've found for converting from AVI to DVD is WinAVI. It's not free but it's by far the fastest, most reliable and simplest one to use. You can grab a trial version of it from their site, but it'll leave a watermark on all the frames of the final DVD.

Note: you still need DVD burning software like Nero to actually burn the disc of course. WinAVI only does the conversion from AVI to DVD files.

use nero express just go to make my own movie, put the file in there and nero will convert it to dvd format and burn it for you.
