Well, since you asked the question let me pose this senario to you.
You're on a subway train. There are 3 open seats, all next to another person.
The first person's wearing torn dirty clothes, has a dozen pericings, a mohawk, smoking a cigarette and drinking a pint.
You see another person that's extremely obese, with acne and greasy hair, eating a pizza while studying a book about Dungeons and Dragons
Lastly, the final person is wearing a well tailored suit, is well groomed and is quitely reading his evening paper...
Which one do you choose to sit next to?
The fact is, we ALL make value judgements every day of our lives. This does NOT make us bad people, just products of our ethics, values and upbringing. What would make you a bad person is to not allow yourself to change your mind once you've learned more about the person you've prejudged. Your mother told you not to talk with strangers, didn't she? Did that make her a bad person?

People judge others in that way, because they are too insecure about themselves that it makes them feel better to put someone else down or judge in this way. God did not put us here to judge one another & it's really sad that so many have put themselves in that position, as judges. If only people could remove the veil from their eyes and see others for what is on the inside and not what is on the outside. Let your light shine and be who YOU are. If someone else doesn't like it, they would never make a good friend or anything more anyway. : )

Cuz of the majority of ppl who look a certain way act a certain way so when the miniority of ppl who dont act like the majority look a certain way also, most ppl arent open-minded enough to think dat they might be different
unfortunately dats just how it is and so just make sure ppl get 2 noe the real u so their bad judgement can go away

People seem to think that they are so much better than everyone else, plus sometimes it makes them SEEM cool to their friends and they have a low self esteem and by judging or making fun of them in other words, it makes them feel better about themselves. Yeah its pretty retarded but I guess we all have to get used to it, no one is ever going to quit

well you can't help it, because we always form first impressions of people. the important thing, however, is to be able to get past a first impression, to not allow the immediate response to cloud future thoughts about a person.
it may be unfortunate, but it's true. it's human nature to try to categorize information immediately, in a manner that makes sense to us. that's why we form judgments of people, even if we're not consciously trying to do so.

well everyone dosen't. some judge on the actions and how they approach them so try not being rude. and girl that like to be aproach with confidence!!

they have their own issues going on so it is easier to judge someone lese instead of getting to know them and then realizing how much they really suck

Um...because some people are so interested in what other people think of them and think THEY are better than everyone else....it'll never change, we have to get used to it..Sad, isn't it??
