my best friend jamie and i have been like peas in a pod since i moved schools in my second grade year. sh has stuck with me through thick and thin and i love her like a sister. the problem is that we got some new girls this year and they have pretty much taken over the school. they are pretty and rich and VERY mean to me. they won't talk to me at all just stick their noses up in the air and walk past me. jamie has noticed their popularity and has gotten very close with them lately. i'm scraed that she will ditch me for them. what should i do?

I totally understand how you feel, I go through the same stuff every single day of school. Im not popular and im super shy, it hurts when i see others like me who make friends with popular kids, i feel like they'll ditch me too. But i think you should try finding more friends. If you have more than one friend you should try to stick with them more to get closer and I know it feels teriable when popular people think their all that and say mean things. But try to also meet others who dont hang with them. If you in highschool that shouldnt be too hard because theres alot of people. Best friends are friends that withstand the ups and downs of childhood and adolesence. So what if she's in with the in crowd. Althought if she knows they are mean to you, she should definately stand up for you. Don't loose a good friend over high school, it's totally NOT worth it. But don't let her forget who has been there for her. She should be a more loyal friend and tell those girls to accept you.

if she is your real friend then she would not treat you like ****.and if she cant notice that then maybe you should get some new friend and start doing every thing with them and see how it effects her.. then go from there
