Was Nixon that bad? I wasn't alive back then....
Either way, I think Bush will go down in history as the biggest bumbling idiot to ever hold down the job.
Under his leadership:
1. Recession
2. 4000 killed in worst terrorist attack in US history
3. Record national deficit
4. Most job loss ever
5. Least job creation ever
6. Record number of bankruptcy
7. 150,000 US soldiers in Iraq.. when they should be in Afghanistan hunting down Osama
8. 2500 US soldiers killed in Iraq
9. Cheney's oil company, Haliburton, making record profits
10. Record high energy prices
11. Lowest approval rating in history
12. Raided Social Security to pay for Iraq war
13. Iraq on verge of Civil War
14. Bush twins caught getting drunk at a bar with fake IDs
15. Spying on Americans

I remember watching the Watergate hearings the summer I was 13, and although some of it was incredibly dull, some of it was really, really interesting. I ended up getting an undergrad in poli sci partially because of the Watergate era and the impact it had on America. So ... I've read a LOT about Nixon, both Watergate-related and otherwise. One thing that can't be argued about Nixon was that he was a foreign policy wizard - under G.W. Bush we are more hated around the world than we've ever been, as a nation and as a people. I've just returned from a trip overseas, and believe me, countries that used to welcome Americans are not so happy to see us these days.
So - G.W. gets my vote as worst.

With all of his faults, Tricky Dick did see the end of Vietnam. You have to give him credit for that. And he didn't cut off reporters and act arrogant like G.W. B. , Nixon took it like a man, and NEVER did he send a woman to do his bidding like this cowboy coward we have to deal with for another 2 years.

Neither, I wonder what Gore would have done on 9/11? Didn't Nixon get us out of Veitnam?

Nixon was a slimy, self-serving lawyer, just like Clinton.

it's actually a tie between Jimmy "i love peanuts & communism" Carter and Bill "call me slick willy because i nailed the intern under the desk" Clinton. of course if Hillary or john kerry were to get in next time around, they'd be a lock for that title.
