Why would you want to do that? The only thing I can think of is hitting PrintScreen and then pasting the image into PhotoShop or Paint and saving it as jpg.
Confused....

This will only work if your document is one page or less in length...
The basic process is to take screen shots and save them with a picture editing program such as MS Paint.
Details:
1) Take a screen-shot: make sure Word is the active program. Press alt-PrtScn (i.e. hold down the alt button while pressing the print screen button, generally on the upper right of your keyboard).
2) This causes a screen shot to be placed on the "clipboard"
3) Next, launch a picture editing program. If you are running Windows, use the start menu and follow these choices: Start|All Programs|Accessories|Paint.
4) Now that you have MS Paint (or equivalent) running, "paste" your screen shot - this will place your screen shot into the Paint for editing. To paste, press ctrl-V (hold down the ctrl button while pressing V).
5) Your screen shot is now available for editing, but all you want to do is save it. To do so, use the menu choices File|Save As.
6) You will be asked to supply a name and format for your file. Make sure you select jpg as your choice under "save as type". Also be sure to save your file some place where you can find it again.

You can do it using Power Point for example. Just insert the word document you want to convert to jpg (ot gif) (a page will represent a slide), as an object, and then save each slide in jpg format!
There are many alternatives on the net, including freeware of course! An example is below:

If you highlight the document window, press ALT+Print Screen, which saves an image to the clipboard. You can then cut and paste the entire document in a picture editor.
I hope this helps.

lmao @ judgesmails - that's a good one, i can see your logic but sadly just saving a file with the extension of a .jpg file doesn't make it a picture file, it makes it a word file with a .jpg extension which will try and open in a graphics package when opened.
you made me laugh, i like it :)

Titus hit the nail right on the head. Alt+Print Screen and paste it into a picture editor.
