I'm just trying to decide if it would be better for me to buy a 6 pack of beer(in 12 ounce bottles), or a bottle of beer containing 1 pint and 12 ounces of liquid. I'm trying to decide which would get me more product for less money.

OK, Einstein, lets see if we can decipher this for you....

1 pint equals 16 oz, plus the 12oz=28 ounces
in the first bottle.
6 12oz bottles are 72 ounces. The difference
is 44 ounces.

A pint is 16 ounces so the first is 28 ounces

The 6-pack is 72 ounces

Your mother would be much happier if you just bought the bottle

1 pint = 2 cups = 16 ounces.

16 + 12 = 28

6 x 12 = 72

The six pack is more than twice as much liquid.
