His nurse is concerned because she never bothered learning any of the stuff she was supposed to while training, but simply asked other people on the internet. And now, faced with a real patient who's ill she doesn't have a clue as she can't get to the internet. And Mr. Quick would have been better off if the nurse had chosen another career.

diarrhea is a natural defense of our body, it helps the digestive tract to remove harmful substances.
the problem is if it did not stop or goes on for a week for more.
what happens is that the intestinal tract cant absorb the fluids in the food we eat (the reason why our stool is watery). in those fluids, are electrolytes that are essential to our body. if diarrhea goes on for a week, the patient will dehydrate and will lose huge amounts of electrolytes without replacing it.
