What do you want to know about the Act?

The Fair Debt Collection & Practice Act will not affect your interest, just how they collect from you.

Heck, you're probably what most people are termed "judgement" proof. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Plus if the debt is older than 7 years, they can't even sue you. Just write them a letter stating that you have no interest in paying and for them to stop calling.

I worked in collections for years, but I don't understand your questions. Depending on your interest rate it's possible, but how they collect on it may not be depending on you situation.
